Native New England Hardwood Floors:.
Our Traditional Country Hardwood Floors are a great choice for those people who want the character and charm of the pine floors but want the durability of a hardwood floor. Our Country hardwood floors have lots of natural character which include unique colors, solid knots and natural defects. If you want to use pine in parts of your home, but not
in the high traffic areas, we have what you are looking for.
Our Country Style Hardwood Floors have been used in New England homes for over two centuries!
We offer ash, cherry, maple and oak in two country style grades to meet your personal taste.
Our hardwood floors have a natural country character. They are offered
to give the owners the toughness of a hardwood floor but yet have
natural character in the wood to give the floors the country charm of a
soft wood floor. The wood will have a variety in color and grain with
solid knots and natural defects. Our select grades of course are
virtually free of knots and imperfections. The boards will come in random
widths between 2-1/2" & 6-1/2". The lengths are between 4' and 12'
long. Less than 5% of the order will be under 8" in length. The boards
will need to be cut to length during installation. The wood is kiln
dried to 6%-8% moisture. The flooring comes T&G, milled to 3/4 inch
with stress relief on the back side.

Traditional Country Grade Hardwoods:
These floors are chosen for a country or cottage look. The boards are
specifically chosen for knots and lots of natural character. The wood
will vary in color and grain which will give the floor a very unique and
distinctive look. Knot size will vary from 1/2" to 3" in diameter.
2-1/2" to 6-1/2" finished face widths.
Traditional New England Grade Hardwoods:
This grade has the charm of an old New England hardwood floor. The
flooring is a Finish grade which is not perfectly clear, but has about
20%-30% of natural character wood and 70%-80% in clear wood with lots of
color and grain variations. Knot size will vary from 1/4" to 2-1/2" in
diameter. We feel it is a nice compromise for a country home.

Homesteads Select Grade Hardwoods:
If you desire a cleaner looking floor, we also offer all of our woods in
a Premium Selective grade. The wood is 90% clear and very beautiful.
The boards are selected for a more consistent natural color and grain
variation with very small limited knots and virtually free of other
imperfections.

Shipping:
The transport company we use ships at prices which vary.
We have shipped our flooring all over the U.S. Prices depend on volume
and location of delivery. Please call for an estimate on your order.
Please order your wood at least six to eight weeks before you would like
to have it delivered. Depending on the time of year our delivery times
can be less. Also, allot time for the wood to adjustment to the
climate inside your home before installation.
If there is a special wood floor that you are looking for that we do not
offer, give us a call, we may be able to find it for you. We do have
access to many types of woods, but do not offer them all due to demand.
* Square foot prices do not include on job waste. We recommend you add
10% to your order.
